How does it work?

• Passive-direct system
• This system requires no pump nor controller.
• The collector and tank are both on the roof. The tank is always above the collector.
• The sun heats water in collector fallowing the principal of natural convention:

• Hot water expands and becomes lighter,
• Cold, heavy water flows downhill into collector pushing the hot water back up into tank
• These events are repeated creating a continuous natural circulation.
• Solar heated water then flows from rooftop tank into auxiliary tank at ground level.
• Valves in this system allow it to be drained or bypassed
